In 2001, the Conway Downtown Partnership spearheaded a comprehensive, long-term development plan for downtown. The Partnership hired architectural and urban design firm Sakal & Hood of Chicago, to assist in crafting a common sense, readily achievable plan of attack. In December of 2002, the final plan, Conway 2015: A Vision for Success, was formally adopted by the City of Conway.

Conway 2015 was the first step in an energized and cohesive effort, focused on the improvement of downtown Conway and has provided the day-to-day blue print for development and redevelopment in our city’s core.
