A hub of activity in days past, the 34,000 sq. ft. Halter Building is back on track. Purchased by Bentonville based Seayco Group the three story structure will benefit from a $2.5 million investment.

Upon completion, the renovated building will continue to house Fletcher Smith Jewelers, which has occupied the same storefront since 1919. Joining them will be the building’s primary tenant, Michelangelo’s, a new 6,200 sq. ft., $1.5 million Italian restaurant that includes a third-floor rooftop dining terrace. Rounded out with planned office and residential space on the upper floors, the Halter Building is set to regain the fame it enjoyed in the days of the historic Greeson’s Drug Store.

“There are few times in the life of a developer when you have the opportunity to do a project that is as meaningful to a community as the Halter Building is to Conway. I’m privileged to feel this is one of those times.”
